Wicked, Broadway's great musical, plays its farewell season in Madrid at the Nuevo Teatro Alcalá (Calle de Jorge Juan, 62), with its last ten weeks running from October 28, 2026 to January 10, 2027. It tells the untold story of the witches of Oz: the friendship between Elphaba, the green-skinned girl everyone rejects, and the popular Glinda, and how ambition, power and appearances send them down opposite paths — a story about loyalty, integrity and sacrifice. Wednesdays and Thursdays 8pm; Fridays 5pm and 9pm; Saturdays 4pm and 8pm; Sundays noon and 4pm. About 2 hours 30 minutes plus an interval. Recommended from age 8; under-4s not admitted. Tickets from €22 on ATG Tickets. Performed in Spanish.
